A Sweet Moment of Growth with Salted Honey S’mores

June 2020 brought one of my favorite flavors of the year—Salted Honey. No corn syrup, just pure honey, sea salt, and soft, sticky magic. This marshmallow felt like comfort in the middle of chaos, and I wasn’t the only one who needed it.

That month, our Marshmallow of the Month Club grew like wild. We went from 75 to 250 subscribers overnight, and suddenly, it wasn’t just me, my Cricut, and a few boxes on the kitchen table anymore. It was real. It was big. It was beautiful.

Why the big jump? Because we were in the thick of COVID, the George Floyd protests, and the rising voices of Black Lives Matter. Cratejoy spotlighted Black-owned brands, and suddenly, people were looking for ways to support Black creators.

And there we were—a box full of joy, flavor, and heart. We became the go-to Black-owned subscription box on Cratejoy. That moment of recognition still gives me goosebumps.

📦 Leveling Up the Box Design

We kept the s’more box style from May but stepped it up—no more hand-cut pieces! We got our first professionally die-cut boxes, but the heart stayed the same. Every detail was still designed with love and care.
